On April 8, 2010, USCIS announced that it will continue to accept FY 2011 H-1B petitions until further notice. According to the announcement, USCIS has received approximately 13,500 H-1B petitions towards the allotted 65,000 petitions under the regular cap, and 5,600 towards the 20,000 advanced degree cap.
